LDA 141 – Community Participation & Design

Winter Quarter, 2019

This quarter, our class of 40 students from Sustainable Environmental Design and Landscape Architecture set out to learn how to better design together with communities. Using Design as Democracy as our framework, we walked through a participatory design process, working with 7 community partners to advance their own design goals.
