Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Streetscape and Urban Design Master Plan

Working for Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment with the City of Sacramento, our firm (Mogavero Notestine Associates) was the lead of a large planning and design consultant team that prepared this new vision for Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard in Oak Park, Sacramento. Through in-depth analysis and multiple meetings with community members and agency staff, we prepared a document that reflected participants’ visions for a revitalized corridor.

The coming demise of the redevelopment agency and the accompanying budget crisis halted implementation, but this corridor and the community that surrounds it continues to deserve attention to improve the physical spaces that bind it together.
